She was a bigger girl with a nose ring and blue eyes. I want to say she was the middle chair on the right... maybe? I can't remember exactly. Anyway, I would suggest you ask for someone else if you are dead set on going here... I had this experience 9/29/17 between 2:00-2:30 PM.
Anyway, they gave me a refund no problem. Funny thing is they can't refund the tip. So I guess I gave her $5 tip to butcher my head anyway. Just a pretty scummy thing to not even tell me she messed up and even go out of her way to hide it.
I don't usually write reviews. But I had a pretty terrible experience here today and you need to avoid this girl in particular:
Good haircuts for the price. For the complainers; this isn't Newbury St. it is a chain hair cuttery on Lyman St. in a town that ends in borough.
I've never had a more rude encounter in my life. The woman on the phone told me an incorrect price for a service, understandable error if happens. What made the encounter unbelievably rude was one of the girls muttering under her breathe and the other one telling me "since money is a problem, you should go to a beauty school next time" FYI, NEVER OKAY to say to your customers. And they did a crappy job as well. Save your time and money and go anywhere else
I went in for a simple 3 on the side 5 on the top buzz cut. The girl seemed like she was in a bad mood, but whatever we've all been there. She cut my hair and off I went. Someone almost immediately commented that there was a big notch in the back of my head. I checked it out with my phone and it was very bad. Looked like a full swing of the buzzer with no #3 on it.
Awesome customer service! Karly (not sure how it's spelled) did a great job cutting my hair and was extremely nice to talk to! Definitely a friendly staff in this store. Will continue to come back
I've been going to this location for over 3 years and every time I go I'm happy and satisfied with my hair cut, last week I went got a hair cut and it was a disaster the lady had no idea what she was doing !!!!!! 1st time i see her . I will never go back again -- if you want to hire new employees don't let them Train/practice on clients hair.
Thinking back to my cut she never showed me the back of my head like they usually do. Also, when I went back I talked to her directly and when she was getting her manager she pointed (on her own head) exactly where it was messed up and all I had told her was that there was a notch in the back of my head. So I'm positive she knew she did it and didn't tell me.
