Last week first time I went to Rivkah's Hair Studio and I had an awesome experience ! Rivkah is not only professionally expert, she's a wonderful person I ever met !!! God bless you Rivkah :)
Phenomenal experience with Rivkah last week. She is a true professional with immense talent. I sat in her chair for close to 30 minutes talking about my hair, face shape, styling expectations and looking through pinterest for ideas. I never felt rushed and was confident that Rivkah wanted to find the perfect cut for me. It took a little encouraging, but we decided to go from medium length thick, wavy hair to a modern, professional, and EASY pixie. HUGE transformation and I couldn't be happier. I love it. My hair is difficult and there's a lot of it. She spent close to an hour cutting and shaping. She would periodically stop and look to see what my hair was naturally doing and cut some more. I could tell she wanted me to love my hair and I do. This was my first Rivkah experience and I'm a new convert and believer! I don't plan on gong anywhere else. And while the cut was pricey, it was worth every penny.
I went over here for the first time, and I realized it was at the back of a food shop. I was told I had an appointment with Kaz, but I got someone else who does not understand curly hair at all. I was very specific with the type of cut I was asking for and my hair is completely ruined. I had many layers and my hair is curly, also a bit long. I had some stringy and random pieces in the back that I wanted to get rid of I even showed her a picture. I wished for shoulder length, and she gave me, no exaggeration, a bowl cut. My hair is completely uneven all over. She also attempted giving me bangs, which ended in uneven shorter hairs being pulled out in a gross pattern. When washing my hair, she added this product that was stated to make my hair not crunchy or crisp like, but that is exactly the way my hair feels right now. She just kept cutting random parts of my hair that were perfectly fine. I also asked for ways to treat my hair and style options, which I shouldn't have asked for. I was told to never brush my hair and use a large amount of product for the little amount of hair I now have. I could do a much better job with my eyes closed. Never, ever coming back here again. Also, completely overpriced for such a terrible job. Only come here if you want to be the next "Coconut Head".
It was super Awesome place. Everyone was so nice to me had a great time and totally love my new Look!!! all because of Amber she is a great Hairstylist.
Kaz never fails to deliver. From the way he does his consultations to the way he does my cut and color. He always makes sure you leave satisfied and feeling fabulous! Extremely grateful for the staff at Rivkas. xoxo
