This place is a bit pricey. However, they fit an amazing variety into a fairly small space, and I can often find things here that I can't find other places...at least not without paying more.
So, a little pricey for standard stuff, but quite reasonable for difficult to find stuff.

Best supermarket in the metro-west area of Boston. Excellent meats and fresh produce. A bit pricey for ordinary items such as can goods and household items. Blows competitors such as Market Basket and Price Chopper out of the water in terms of quality.
Roche Bros markets are all just nice places to shop. The fish, meat, and produce are always excellent and the people that work there are fantastic. Yes, their prices aren't the lowest, but they are ok.
This is definitely my favorite grocery store. The selection is varied but not overwhelming. The quality is excellent and the store is clean. Although popular, it's not usually a madhouse so shopping is actually enjoyable. The prices are a little on the high end but still reasonable.
