The location is very convenient from rt 9, 495, rt 20 or even the Mass Pike. The building is nice, and well maintained too. That's where it ends.
Their online image does not do them justice. Their food is incredible, fresh, and very real tasting (some places leave you a little suspicious). Their staff is helpful and friendly, and they provide beautiful cotton bags. I was highly impressed with their overall delivery. The only thing is, they don't have Japanese anymore. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend.
Then the food... The chicken was rubbery, the peanuts were undercooked, it was flavorful at all. My finacee had been there years before and was adamant that it was not good... But we were in the area and had hoped they improved in 10 years... NOPE. First time, last time.
The server took over 20 minutes to even come by for a drink order - I got fed up and just went to get my own at the bar. The food seemed pretty overpriced for the portions, and the rice came out AFTER we had eaten. Who wants a bed of rice for their Kung-Poa chicken? Me!

If you want great Asian food, Cheng Du is the only place to go in the boroughs...they have never disappointed. Delicious and affordable
I HATE chicken fingers But not at Cheng Du. They are delicious because the dough is thin and crispy. Great food selection and everything is fresh and tasty. The place looks impressive from outside and inside is comfortable and the way they setup the tables gives a nice feeling of privacy.
